Welcome to Our World Journey! We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to be able to experience a journey such as this as well as to share it with you. We are Johan and Janine Potgieter, a married couple from Cape Town, South Africa. It has been Johan's life dream to travel the world with his wife and on the 19 of March 2006 that dream became a reality.The first 6 months of our trip we spent roaming the great continent of South America before we stopped over in South Africa for a few weeks to do the washing and to catch up with family and friends.
The following 4 months took us around many countries in Asia, from India to Vietnam. Johan is an avid traveller and surfer and he especially loves South East Asia. Our entire trip was on a shoestring budget - just cheap and beautiful 3rd world countries and budget option travel.
